National Skills & Leadership Conference Suwannee County Skills Team after winning first place in the State Competition went to the Nationals in Kansas City June 21 - 27th to compete. Bob Makala instructor from the Suwannee Hamilton Vo-Tech and Jimmy Norris of Southern Heritage Builders went as advisors. The Suwannee Valley Builders Association provided $3,000 to the team after they finished first at the State Competition and did not have the funding to go to Nationals. Our young men out did themselves and finished 9th in the competition. Click here for gallery. |
