After taking 1at place in the SkillsUSA Florida State competition Ethan Butts, Nicky Raines and brothers Cory and Dillion Voss, took 1st place at the National competition in Kansas City, MO. Competing against 30 other high schools from across the nation these future leaders in the construction industry from the Suwannee Hamilton Vocational and Technical center brought home the GOLD!!
The President of the Suwannee Valley Builders Association will recognize the young men with their Coaches, teachers Derwin Bass, Bob Mekela and Jimmy Norris of Southern Heritage Builders, a member of the Builders Association July 24 at 6PM at the Suwannee Middle School Cafetorium.
Carl Miller, Executive Director of the Skills Florida will be the guest speaker. All of the community is welcome to recognize these outstanding young men.
